Purpose of the Project The purpose of the project is to provide basic health services to total 663,900 population through 14 Comprehensive Health Centers (CHCs), 21 Basic Health Centers (BHCs), 4 Sub Health Centers and 535 Health Posts.
The project also aims at training 24 persons as Community Health Nurses for the province
Activities Providing all components of primary health care services as outlined in the Basic Package of Health Services document
Capacity building and training of health workers on various topics
Strengthening community-based health care
Strengthening the quality of health services and referrals
Establish Community Health Nursing Education Program in the province

Dates of Funding Start 01 May 2013 End 30 November 2014
Purpose of grant The purpose of the project was to provide health services (chiefly anti-TB services) to a total 70,000 Internally Displaced Population (IDPs) in 7 camps
Activities Provision of services treating communicable diseases and other services as per BPHS
Offering health education and conducting door-to-door visits
Strengthening referrals of patients
Training Community Health Workers
Strengthening community-based health care (CBHC)

Name of Project Baseline Nutrition Survey Using SMART methodology
Amount of Funding USD 11,000
Dates of Funding Start 01 August 2012 End 31 August 2012
Purpose of grant The purpose of the project was set a baseline for a project which was due to be implemented by Pakistan Health and Development Services (PHDS)
Activities Develop questionnaires and interview guides
Sampling as per the set methodology
Data collection and data analysis
Produce and disseminate survey report
